Our Health Services
Thank you for choosing Happy Health Services.
As a team, we are committed to providing quality primary care in Santa Clara County. We have been serving the community for over 43 years and are proud to be part of the healthcare system. As healthcare continues to evolve, we understand that the key to success is the patient experience. At Happy Family Pharmacy, we aim to keep our patients healthy through a multidisciplinary approach. To achieve this, we offer a range of services under one roof, allowing patients to receive care from various specialists in a single visit.
Family Practice
Family medicine focuses on building long-term, caring relationships with patients and their families. Family doctors combine various medical services to provide continuous and comprehensive care. Family medicine covers patients of all ages, genders, organ systems, and diseases.
Pediatrics
Pediatricians specialize in treating infants, children, and adolescents, typically up to age 18. The term “pediatrician” comes from Greek and means “healer of children.” Like adult medicine, pediatricians can work as general practitioners or specialize in specific fields, but their goal is always to build long-term relationships with each patient.
Internal
Internal medicine doctors focus on the health of adults, specializing in the prevention and treatment of adult-related diseases. They can work as general practitioners or specialize in specific areas of adult medicine. Internists aim to build long-term relationships with their patients and monitor their overall health.
Women’s Health
Specialists in women’s health focus on the care of female anatomy and have expertise in women’s health, including obstetrics and gynecology. Our Women’s Health Clinic collaborates with the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) to provide continuous care and support throughout the childbirth process.
Optometry and Optical
Our optometrists are trained to assess eye health and vision. They diagnose and treat various eye conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and offer additional services to improve vision. Our opticians handle the fitting and adjustment of eyeglasses, which are provided at our healthcare centers.
Pharmacy
We offer professional, affordable, and convenient pharmacy services to our patients. Our pharmacies are staffed by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are dedicated to caring for our patients, regardless of their financial situation or ethnic background. Our core services include filling prescriptions, offering medication counseling, and dispensing medications. Our pharmacies accept nearly all insurance plans, including Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care, Healthy Family, Healthy Kids, FPACT, Valley Health Plan, and Medicare Part D. We also offer medication discounts for low-income patients who are uninsured.
Healthcare for the Homeless
The Happy Family Store (HFS) program continues to maintain strong relationships with resource agencies throughout Santa Clara County and California, developing new partnerships as community services evolve and the needs of the homeless change. We have agreements in place to provide medication services through Happyfamilystore.org during hours when homeless individuals are at major shelters and service points from Palo Alto to Gilroy, including EHC/LifeBuilders, InnVision, St. Joseph’s, Mountain View Day Worker Center, Bill Wilson Center, Georgia Travis Center, Salvation Army, and other locations. Given the high concentration of homeless individuals and shelters in downtown San Jose, the new Family Downtown Health Center is expected to increase the number of homeless we serve from 3,000 to 4,000 and boost clinic visits from 10,000 to 13,000 for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Dental
The Family Dental Service provides preventive and diagnostic dental services, restorations, periodontics, surgical dentistry, prosthetics, and endodontics (root canal treatment), with wheelchair accessibility at three locations. Family Dentistry serves patients of all ages, including those with special needs, in an atmosphere of compassion and care for all. Dental caries is a silent epidemic, its prevalence rising sharply, leading to a decline in overall health and causing children and adults to miss school or work. This epidemic can be stopped.
